MEET THE DIRECTOR

Tome GravanteDirector and men’s coach at Mount St. Mary's University; 1993-present. Coach Gravante was named the 1997, 1999, and 2001 MAAC Coach of the Year. As a college player, he was a two-time 1st team All-America at Hobart College ('87 & '88), where he also received Attack-man and Player of the Year Awards in the 1988 NCAA Division III Championship. Tom still holds a Top-10 NCAA Division III scoring record for 17 goals in (3)-playoff games. A former member of the MILL Buffalo Bandits and Baltimore Thunder, Coach Gravante was the 2001 NCAA Division 1 recipient of the Howdy Meyers "Man of the Year." He was inducted into Hobart College's Athletic Hall of Fame in the Fall of 2007.

 

HELPFUL INFORMATION ABOUT THE SUMMER-16 TOURNAMENTS:

Dear Coach or Team Organizer,

The 2nd annual Summer-16 lacrosse tournaments at Mount St. Mary’s University are underway. As the growth of this great sport continues to reach Varsity and JV levels across Maryland and other surrounding states, I would like to offer these players an opportunity to show case their skills to college coaches on the beautiful campus of Mount St. Mary’s University.

Summer-16 Varsity Team tournament: Friday 7/17 to Sunday 7/19. This tournament will host 16 Varsity level teams to ensure maximum competition for participants and college exposure. Each team is guaranteed (7) games on (3) grass fields and (1) field turf stadium. On Saturday July 18, there will be a North-South All Star game at 8:15pm in the Waldron Family Lacrosse Stadium. Tournament championship and final consolation games will begin at 9:00am on Sunday 7/19. Tournament winners will receive the $25 gift card to Outback Steakhouse following the completion of the championship game. College coaches in attendance: TBA

Summer-16 JV Team tournament: Friday 7/24 to Sunday 7/26. This tournament will host 16 JV level teams to ensure maximum competition and playtime for all participants. Each team is guaranteed (7) games on (3) grass fields and (1) field turf stadium. On Saturday July 25, there will be a North-South All Star game at 8:15pm in the Waldron Family Lacrosse Stadium. Tournament championship and final consolation games will begin at 9:00am on Sunday 7/26. Tournament winners will receive the $25 gift card to Outback Steakhouse following the completion of the championship game.

Once again, to ensure maximum play and college recruiting exposure for your athletes, the tournament field will be limited to 16 teams. All teams must submit: TEAM CONSENT FORMS and FEES by Monday July 6th, 2009.

TEAM DEPOSIT REQUIRED: There will be a $200 team deposit required to confirm all team entries. This is non-refundable and due by Wednesday June 15th, 2009. Please make deposit payable to: The Elite 150, Inc. All deposits will be credited to team balance.



Complete team registrations include the $200 deposit and the following:

Roster – List of all player names, addresses, telephone #s, email addresses, grade, and position.

Registration – Consent form information with parent/guardian signatures.

Fees – Check(s) corresponding to the number of players.

Commuter fee-$225; Day fee-$275 includes Lunch and Dinner; Resident fee-$375 includes all meals. ***All dorm rooms are air-conditioned***

To help recruiting efforts for college coaches, each player is required to wear a numbered jersey that corresponds to the roster sent by the coach or team organizer. All teams are required to bring their own jerseys. Please mail complete team registration and entry fees by Monday July 6, 2009 to:
