Mount St. Mary's University Men's Lacrosse staff is excited to announce our Monday August 1st (1)-Day Prospect Camp for 2023 and 2024 high school graduates only. The event will be limited to 60-players and 3-teams. Each team will have 4-Attackmen, 6-Midfielders, 4-Close Defensemen, 2-Long-Stick Midfielders, 2-Face-Off Midfielders and 2-Goalies.
ATTN: ONLY 2024 GOALIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. We have filled our 2023 Goalie spot.
The camp will be held on East campus PNC-Athletics Field Complex at the Waldron Family Lacrosse Stadium. The session will run from 10am-4pm. The daily schedule will consist of morning instruction followed by positional skills and drills. Players will then be placed on teams and play 1-game at the end of the morning session. There will be a 1-hour provided lunch break coupled with a Q & A coaches recruiting presentation. The Mount St. Mary's coaching staff will explain the Division-1 recruiting process. Following lunch players will return to their teams for afternoon games to allow the Mount St. Mary's coaching staff a thorough evaluation of all players. Idle teams during games will tour the ARCC facility and our D-1 weight room with their coaching staff.
Camp RESCHEDULED for SUNDAY 10/23/2022:
9:15am: Player registration: team assignment, get reversible, and dress for 10am start. Locker room available.
9:45am: On field, meet the camp coaching staff.
10:00am: Camp stretch
1010am: Goalie school and positional skills and drills begins.
10:30am: Live small part drills; 1v1, 3v3, True North, and Genny drill.
11:45am: Game-1, (3)-20 minute games: Team-1 vs. Team-2, then Team-2 vs. Team-3, then Team-1 vs. Team-3
1:00pm: Provided lunch and recruiting seminar Q & A with the Mount Coaching staff; inside or outside based on weather.
1:45pm: Recruiting Talk by Coach Gravante
2:15pm: Session-2, afternoon games. (3)-40 minute games. Game time subject to change based on # of teams.
4:00pm: End camp, coaches remarks.
4:15pm: Depart
