ATTENTION: THE NCAA RECRUITING DEAD PERIOD HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO AUGUST 1, 2020 DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC.  OUR JULY CAMP WILL BE MOVED TO A 1-DAY PROSPECT CAMP IN SEPTEMBER.  INFORMATION ON THE SEPTEMBER CAMP WILL BE POSTED TO THE HOME PAGE WHEN A DATE IS CONFIRMED. 

Mount St. Mary's University Men's Lacrosse is excited to announce our July Overnight Prospect Camp starting Wednesday 7/15 to Friday 7/17/2020.  The Overnight camp is for high school graduates in the 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 classes. 

The camp will be held on East campus PNC-Athletics Field Complex at the Waldron Family Lacrosse Stadium.  The camp will take place on Wednesday 7/15 to Friday 7/17/2020.  The 3 day-2 night event will have 5-sessions and 5-meals.  Players will stay on Main campus in Air-conditioned dorms with double, triple and quad occupancy.  Meals will be offered in Patriot Hall and can accommodate allergen or vegan needs.  For specific allergen food needs, please contact Howard Williams-Director of Dinning Services at 301.447.5276. 

My staff and I will target 40-88 players for the following team rosters.  Each team will roster the following positions below to provide the best teaching and playing experience for attending players.

4-5 Attackmen, 6-8 Midfielders, 4-5 Base-D, 2 LSM, 1-2 FO-M, and 1-2 Goalies for 18-22-players per team. 

 

Camp Schedule:

Wednesday 7/15: 2-4pm:  Registration, McCaffrey Dorm.  East main campus.  Parking located in front of dorm.
4pm:  Camp meeting: Meet the coaching staff, current players and University visitor policies.
430pm: Dinner at Patriot Hall
545pm: Teams 1+2 depart to Waldron Stadium
600pm: Session-1, Teams 1+2 (90-minute practice)
700pm: Session-1, Teams 3+4 depart to Waldron Stadium (90-minute practice)
730pm: Teams 3+4 begin.  Teams 1+2 return to dorm with Coaching staff
900pm: Teams 3+4 end session and return to dorm
1100pm: End day, lights out

Campers can order Pizza or subs before each night session.  Food will be delivered to dorm lobby at 8pm and 930pm.

Thursday 7/16: 730am: Breakfast at Patriot Hall
  830am: Depart for Waldron Stadium
  900am: Session-2:  Teams 1+3 Waldron Stadium. Teams 2+4 Grass field
1100am: End session, return to dorm
1130am: Lunch at Patriot Hall
100pm: End lunch.  Recruiting talk with Coach Gravante.  Place-Dorm Common area on ground floor.
130pm: Return to dorm, free time to rest and stay out of the sun.
200pm: Depart for Session-3:  Teams 2+4 Waldron at Stadium.  Teams 1+3 at Grass field
400pm: End session, return to dorm.
430pm: Dinner at Patriot Hall
545pm: Teams 3+4 depart for Waldron Stadium
600pm: Session-4: Game Team 3 vs. Team 4
700pm: Teams 1+2 depart for Waldron
715pm: Game Team 1 vs. Team 2
830pm: End session, return to dorm.

Friday 7/17: 730am: Breakfast at Patriot Hall
830am: Depart for Waldron Stadium, Team TBD vs. Team TBD.  Remaining players-clean your room for check out.
900am: Game-1
945am: Depart for Wadron Stadium, Team TBD vs. Team TBD.  Game-1 players return to dorm and check out.
1015am: Game-2
1115am: End game, return to dorm and check out.

There will be a $20 cash room and key deposit.  Please make sure your room is clean and as you found it on check in.  If there are any issues, please report them to Coach Gravante at registration check in on Tuesday.
